The Elevation Of The GIFTS Of The Spirit Above The FRUIT Of The Spirit By Men Is A Disaster Waiting To Happen

Text: Romans 11:29 "For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance."

The calling into the ministry work and the possession of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is for earthly assignment. They are only useful here on earth, and their relevance, needs and operations will perish here on earth too 1 Timothy 6:7.

Therefore should you have been gifted by God with one or more gifts of the Holy Spirit either as a prophet, miracle worker, word of wisdom and knowledge minister, and should you have been called into the ministry either as a pastor, apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher, elder, bishop or deacon, see that you use the office here on earth to glorify Jesus Christ alone 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, 28, Ephesians 4:11, Acts 14:23, Philippians 1:1. Do not begin to see yourself as more Christian than others as a result of your possession of the gifts of the Spirit because, you can be termed the greatest of all prophet and others and yet, you will still end up in hell fire Matthew 7:22-23, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3.

Now, if you work well and make heaven at your death by the grace of God, you are only going to be addressed by your own name up there in heaven, and never by the title(s) you may be bearing now here on earth Philippians 4:3.

Today in the churches, instead of men to crave for the FRUIT of the Holy Spirit, they are rather running after people who possesses the GIFTS of the Holy Spirit, even though these gifts are never needed in heaven Revelation 21:4; 22:2. This is a pity!

The GIFTS of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
1 "Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will."

THE DANGER OF RELYING ON THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Brethren, just as our text in Romans 11:29 says, the danger of relying on the gifts of the Holy Spirit is that, whoever have been gifted by God with any of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit according to 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, such a person will continue to manifests and demonstrate these gifts even though such a one backslides from the faith and returned back to his/her vomit. This is very dangerous indeed!

Just like king Saul, most of these people today demonstrating the gifts of the Holy Spirit are now doing so under the influence of evil spirits 1 Samuel 18:10. And for you people running after these men in the name of signs and wonders, I pity you because you are not only playing with fire, you are equally endangering yourself to hell fire, as these people you are celebrating, who are best described as magicians are marking you with invisible demonic marks to identify you as a candidate of hell fire in the spirit realm. You better escape for your life now Genesis 19:17.

Another danger here is that most of these pastors, prophets, miracle workers are doing so using lying spirit. The encounter between Zedekiah and his company of prophets, against the LORD'S prophet Micaiah is a case study for your understanding here 1 Kings 22:5-28. Please, don't be blindfolded by supposed miracle workers.

Also, most of these magicians you called miracle workers today have succeeded to diverts your attention to themselves from Jesus Christ. With their anointed water, stickers, apron, mirrors, soap & sponge, calendar, wrist band, sand and other things you've been collecting from them, they have now placed your faith, healing and miracles on their demonic materials. This is surely a disaster waiting to happen!
No wonder Apostle Paul says such demonic people should be accursed but, the Christians of today don't give a damn, as far they are told their problems by these wolves. May Jesus set you free today in Jesus name. Amen.
Galatians 1:6 "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

And yet more, the greatest danger that relying on the gifts of the Holy Spirit can bring on the people is the fact that, these pastors and prophets are demonstrating these gifts with the name of Jesus and using the bible. As a result, a lot of the people who are being deceived will be saying as far as such and such a prophet is preaching the word of God, using the bible, and calling on the name of Jesus that he/she can never be fake. What a deceit!

Your blindness to the truth and dependence on man, instead of God and HIS word through the help of the Holy Spirit, has caused you to forget that at the mention of Jesus name (by whomsoever), every knee bows in heaven, on earth and under the earth Philippians 2:9-11. This is in addition to the fact that Jesus said people are casting out devils, prophesying and doing wonderful works in HIS name but yet, HE (Jesus) doesn't know them Matthew 7:21-23. I pray that your eyes will be enlightened today in Jesus name. Amen.

THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

However, the FRUIT of the Holy Spirit which today's Christians have relegated to the background is the most important and best thing that can ever happened to a true Christian, who is heavenly conscious. This single FRUIT with nine attributes/characteristics is a MUST for every heaven candidates.

Let's see them in Galatians 5:22-23
22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

Brethren, do you know why these nine attributes of the Holy Spirit is called FRUIT (singular) and not FRUITS (plural)? This is because you are expected to have these 9-in-1 fruit complete in you before you can ever dream of seeing heaven, not to talk making it into heaven John 3:3, 5.

To further stressed the necessity of having everything complete in one, Brother James in James 2:10-12 says:
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty." Therefore, if you are speaking and not doing, you are doing yourself a great harm!

Do you know that these nine attributes of the fruit of the Holy Spirit is actually the characteristics of God? So, how do you expect to dwell in heaven with God when you are lacking in the things that made up heaven? Think deeply on these things now!

1. Love 1 John 4:8 "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."

2. Joy Nehemiah 8:10 "Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

3. Peace 1 Thessalonians 5:23 "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

4. Longsuffering 2 Peter 3:15 "And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;"

5. Gentleness 2 Corinthians 10:1 "Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:"

6. Goodness Romans 2:4 "Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?"

7. Faith Galatians 2:16 "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."

8. Meekness 2 Corinthians 10:1 "Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:"

9. Temperance (self-control) Exodus 32:14 "And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people."

So, how will you claim to be a child of God, Holy Spirit filled and born again and yet, the things you are displaying both in your body, spirit and soul is nothing but the works of the flesh? Galatians 5:19-21. Do you think you can bribe God as a result of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in your life and the empowerment thereby? Consider this now and repent before it is too late.

In conclusion, I would like you to know that no sickness, death, trouble, money, devil, demons, marriage, school, business, job, enemies etc in heaven and therefore, all these gimmicks in the demonstration of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is not needed there. I hope you understand.

Should you desire to make heaven, see what Ephesians 5:9 says "For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth." Hebrews 12:14 also says "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."

Are you therefore holy? Are you righteous? Are you truthful? Do you possess the fruit of the Holy Spirit? Is your name written in the Lamb's book of life? Are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb? Are your sins forgiven?

Consider your ways now and make amends so that your labour in Christ will not be in vain.
