Being Born Again! Not Of Corruptible Seed

Text: 1 Peter 1: 22 “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

According to the WordWeb dictionary, born again means: Spiritually reborn or having changed religion.

I will go with the ‘spiritually reborn’ because changing your religion does not amount to being born again. There are people who have changed from Christianity to Islam and vice versa, as well as from occultic practices to Christianity and vice versa. All these do not amount to being born again. Okay.

Being born again means to be regenerated in the spirit man with the word of God. Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

 It means being fashioned after the word of God which is able to make you wise unto salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15 “And that from a child thou hast known the HOLY SCRIPTURES (word of God), which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

Being born again is to put on the new man who is created in righteousness and true holiness, and fashioned after the image of Christ. Ephesians 4:24 “And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Colossians 3:10 “And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.”

It also means to walk in the Spirit, which gives you the strength and ability to deal with your fleshy desires, trying to drawing you into lust. Galatians 5:16 “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

Being born again also means bearing the FRUIT of the Spirit, which actually is the mark of your true testimony of being a born again Christian, of which if you lack one of them then, your supposed born again theory is having a big question mark.  Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

To be born again also mean to be separated from the world and its fleshy activities and works of darkness. Only then will the Almighty God ever received us to HIMSELF. 2 Corinthians 6:14 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and d aughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

To be born again is to be crucified with Christ, which now empowers you to live the life of Christ in the flesh by faith. Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

To be born again is to be known of God, which then gives you the grace to overcome all the elements of the sinful nature which was once your master that tied you in perpetual bondage. Romans 1:19 “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.”  Galatians 4:9 “But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?”

Being born again means to seek the things which are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Col 3:1 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”

To be born again means to do will of God. Churchianity is not Christianity and therefore, only those that do the perfect will of God are the true born again Christians. Mark 3:35 “For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”  Colossians 4:12 “Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.” Matthew 7:21 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

The born again theory in the church of Jesus Christ today is so bastardised that, even people that are manifesting the works of flesh in their lives claims that ‘they are born again’. The understanding of what born again means to the average Christian practitioner is to belong to one denominational church or the other. It means to carry bible around and be seeing entering a church by the unbelievers. It means wearing of rosary, wrist band of a denomination to some people. To some others, it means to be able to speak in tongues, give fat offerings, pay fat tithes, perform miracles, prophesy and do other great work for the name of the LORD. All these amount to nothing in terms of what born again entails.

To be religious in approach and fervent in church service/activities does not also mean born again. When Jesus Christ was speaking to Nicodemus, who was a ‘religionists’, HE made him to know that to be born again means to be born of the Spirit before one can see the kingdom of God, not to talk of entering into it. John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?  5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Now if you are thinking that your attachment to one denomination or the other means that you are born again and that you are heaven-bound is a misconception. You must be truly born again and be very obedient to the word of God before you can ever make it to heaven. Amen.

Should you be born again and rapture ready as a Christian, these things people are doing today which is against the word of God must not be done by you. Most times, it always angers me in my spirit to see how pastors with so much eloquence of speech in their preaching of the bible, and great audience of souls under their tutelage but yet with so much worldliness and appearances of evil work Ecclesiastes 8:11, 2 Timothy 4:18 and yet, there’s no single address about the worldliness that the majority of these audience adorns themselves with Ephesians 5:11, 2 Timothy 4:2. I am always grieved in my heart to see how the church of Jesus Christ has today becomes the centre/headquarters of Satan Revelations 2:13, with all forms of abominations trooping into it by our pastors. Mark 11:17 “And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.”

 If only these members of theirs will understand that they are leaving the altar of God straight to hell fire with the polluted messages of their pastors, they would have make every effort to deliver their soul from hell. Matthew 24:43 “But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.”

However, due to the fact that the ‘god of this world’ (Satan) had blinded their eyes, they will never see the danger ahead of them, even though it is presented to them in its rawest state. 2 Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” May God deliver your soul from hell fire today in Jesus name. Amen.

Brethren, it takes a wicked heart to see a wicked thing, and accept it as normal/good. Isaiah 5:20 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

It takes a fleshly pastor to see his/her congregations flagrantly disobeying the word of God and calls it ‘none essentials’. Matthew 5:19 “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Friend, it takes a hell bound pastor to know the truth and fails to preach it to his/her congregational members. James 4:17 “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

It takes a servant/minister of Satan, who claims to be a pastor or a minister of God to compromise on the word of God. 2 Thessalonians 2:8 “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”

Men and brethren, it takes an unregenerated pastor to keep on feeding his congregation and members with messages of grace, prosperity, favour, blessings and such like, without warning the sinner Christian about hell, consequences of disobedience, and the end of the unsaved soul , as well as teachings of truth, holiness and righteousness. Mark 4:18 “And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.”

In conclusion, I don’t care what your pastors have been telling you about being born again and what true holiness and righteousness means. I don’t care who you claim to be in Christ. I don’t care the congregation/church you belong. I don’t care how many of your prayers have been and answered and how many of your prophecies has been fulfilled. I don’t care how long you have been in the pastoral work, how many souls you have won for the kingdom of God, how many branches your denominational church have all over the world, or the number of private jets at your disposal. I stand here today to declare the truth to you, which is able to make you free. John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

If you must make heaven, if you are truly born again, you must not wear trousers as a woman. You must not use ornaments and jewelries as a man or woman. You must not use any type or form of ring in your hands. You must not use makeup on your body. You must cover your hair while praying as a woman. You must not use attachment and weaveon on your head as a woman. You must not bleach your skin. You must not tattoo yourself. You must not paint your fingers. You must not wear mini skirt as a woman. You must not barb your hair with funny styles as a man. You must ensure that the works of the flesh are not manifesting in you. You must make that your heart is truly clean of all unrighteousness because what you are doing on your body today, is the direct result of what you have in your heart Matthew 5:18.

If you are therefore painting, wearing earrings, wearing trousers, killing, stealing, tattooing yourself, backbiting, hatred, envy, fornications, stealing, lying, masturbating, and doing any other single wicked thing, they are already being done in your heart. Your claimed born again is therefore with corruptible seed 1 Peter 1:23. Stop deceiving yourselves as YOU WILL NEVER ENTER HEAVEN BECAUSE YOU ARE WITH DEFILEMENT. Revelation 21:27 “AND THERE SHALL IN NO WISE ENTER INTO IT (Heaven) ANY THING THAT DEFILETH, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.”

For you to keep on doing these things and yet claimed to be born again means, you have forsaken the LORD and HIS fear is not in you. I pray you will repent today in Jesus name. Amen. Jeremiah 2:19 “Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.”

Receive grace to conquer the flesh in Jesus name. Amen.
