Let The Bible Speak

Let The Bible Speak

Dealing with anger

Ephesians 4:26 "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath"

Please, kindly explain in simple terms:
How can you be angry and yet not sin?

Meanwhile, Jesus Christ was once angry. Mark 3:5 "And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other."

Whereas, the same bible gave us commandments to PUT ANGER AWAY from among us.
Ephesians 4:31 "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice."
Colossians 3:8 "But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth."
Psalms 37:8 "Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil."

Parents, the bible specifically asked you never to provoke your children to anger, otherwise they will get discouraged.
Colossians 3:21 "Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged."

Bible students, how do we reconcile this situation right now? Is the bible contradicting? Let the bible speak.

May the Holy Spirit teach us with divine understanding in Jesus name. Amen.

Shalom!
