Dressing For Identity? Are You Dressing To Please The LORD Or Yourself And People?
Proverbs 7:10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.
There's this saying in the
Christian parlance that says: “You are addressed by the way you dress, and the
way you dress shows your address.”
A Yoruba person is easily
identified by his/her dressing mode. So also is an Edo, Hausa, Effik or an Igbo
person.
Therefore, you that claimed
to be a Christian, what address does your dressing style shows? Answer it for
yourself because you can only deceive your fellow human beings but not God.
To make heaven, you must
therefore dress in your spotless wedding garment in holiness and righteousness,
just like God. Matthew 22:11-12, Ephesians 5:27, Psalm 132:9.
