THE TRIAL OF FAITH

1 Peter 1:6 “Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.”

A lot of us has mistaken trial of faith to mean when one is persecuted for being a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ, that usually results in death, banishment, imprisonment, torture and other unimaginable things done on the professing Christian if he/she refused to deny Jesus, in situation that religious fanatics especially the Islamic terrorists around the world that operates in cruelty against their victims particularly those that are directly attacking Christian communities, all because they are called Christians whether or not they are living according to the will of God. Church membership or being called by a Christian name does not mean Christianity.
Yes, this is a trial of faith but not the only trial of faith that a professing Christian faces in this wicked world as he/she makes effort “to please Him (God) who had called him to be a soldier” in His army 2 Timothy 2:4. We must understand that light and darkness has nothing in communion 2 Corinthians 6:14 and therefore, the presence of light which you represent as a Christian Matthew 5:14 whether committed or a nominal one is a direct threat to the wicked people and their wicked activities of the night John 3:19-20, which they carry out to please Satan their father who has blinded their minds, who is the “god of this world” 2 Corinthians 4:4, thinking that killing someone who opposes his/her faith and believes is a service unto God John 16:2; it is truly a service, but to Satan.

However, the understanding that the LORD gave me in respect to trial of faith is ‘UPHOLDING TRUE HOLINESS’ in wherever one may find him/herself in the world, be it in the church, school, office, business place, hospital, bank etc and especially in your private life when no physical person is present with you. How have you been able to justify the precious blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for your redemption on the cross of calvary in your secret life? Most people are known and called a Christian only in the open, whereas in their secret place they lived a complete life that opposes whatever is related to Christianity and godliness.
Some of us are involved in secret sins, and yet we are pastors, G.Os, bishops, senior pastors, evangelist and we occupy sensitive positions in the church, which have often resulted to remove people’s attention towards our ungodliness and unbiblical lifestyles we lived outside the church. To some extent, our members have risen in our defence when they mistake us to be ‘immortal being’ that cannot sin, nor fall short into sinful practice as humans. This is why the Bible says “every man’’ will receive his/her reward “according to his deeds”, and NOT WHAT PEOPLE THINK YOU HAVE DONE Romans 2:6.

The Bible says “God is HOLY” and we are commanded to be holy like our GOD 1 Peter 1:15-16. Again, holiness is the requirement for making heaven Hebrews 12:14, because heaven is dedicated to holiness Psalm 93:5; no unclean thing shall be found there Deuteronomy 23:13; Revelation 21:27. If your desire is to be with JESUS CHRIST in heaven after your death here on earth, DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, YOU MUST MAINTAIN TRUE HOLINESS IN ALL YOUR CONDUCTS (open and secret) BECAUSE DARKNESS IS A LIGHT IN THE SIGHT OF GOD 1 John 1:5, hence all the works and activities of darkness are made manifest before Him Job 34:22. Until the professing Christian maintain true holiness in all he does, he will remain a man that have a form of godliness but who actually denies the power of godliness and all it takes to be a called a Christian 2 Timothy 3:5. This is the reason JESUS said “And then will I (Jesus) profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” Matthew 7:23, because they were involved in religious activities but were never true children of GOD as their worship lack truth and spiritual alignment that is required for heaven John 4:23-24.

Dear Christian brethren, how much have you resisted unto blood in striving against sin? Hebrews 12:4. The sins you are committing while arguing that it doesn’t matter before GOD matters a lot Isaiah 55:11. That lie you lied to get that job mattered before God, confess it now before it is too late. That certificate you forged to get promotion still matters to GOD, confess it now for your own peace and the sake of your soul. That bribe you gave/collected before getting that job still matters to God, confess and repent now. Those extra sexual activities behind your wives/husbands will damn your soul in hell, should you fail to confess and repent from them now. Those occultic sacrifices you make to get members to your church is the service of Satan, confess it now because both you and all your members are slaves under the chains of darkness and none of you will make heaven from such a defied altar.
Those abortions you committed to avoid being exposed as a pregnant unmarried sister in the church must be confess now, because even if you tried and succeeded in hiding it from men, they are open before God.  Those cigarettes, dry and wet gins you take in your bed chambers hiding it from the public view are known before GOD, confess it all and repent right now. Those habitual masturbation, self-service and other sexual perversion you indulge to satisfy your sexual lust and desires are great wickedness before GOD, stop, confess and repent from them now because it will damn your soul in hell. Those seductive dresses you wore to track men to lust after you are materials of sin and Satan, destroy them now because as you are destroying people’s conscience with it in the street, so your soul will be destroyed in hell if you fail to repent.

Moreover, avoid being in contention with the word of GOD Romans 9:20, using your sensual intellect. JESUS said “If ye love me, keep my commandments” John 14:15. You can’t claim to love GOD and you are delighted and happy to going against His word. You must uphold all the word of GOD in true holiness if heaven is your desire and goal. This is because even the minutest of the word of GOD will still come to fulfilment hence JESUS said “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE SHALL IN NO WISE PASS FROM THE LAW, TILL ALL BE FULFILLED” Matthew 5:18. Jesus was not referring to the ‘Law of Moses’ here but the entire word of GOD, which is settled in heaven forever Psalm 119:89. So, consider where you are standing now. Are just against the word of God and claimed to be a child of God?
Remember that without holiness, no man shall see the LORD Hebrews 12:14. Be blameless in your body, soul and spirit 1 Thessalonians 5:23, so that you will NOT regret at the end when the gates of heaven fails to open unto you in death, despite your zealousness and commitment to the things of God here now as a Christian.

May the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY instil His fear in your heart today that will cause you to reverence Him in true holiness and righteousness.
