The Ministry Of Reconciliation

Text: 2 Corinthians 5:17-19
17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation".
Divorce was NEVER a part of God's plan for marriage Matthew19:8b "but from the beginning it was not so" however, it has become a celebrated matter today even in the house of God and among pastors. The dissolution of marriages today by the Courts, is a great SIN against God because, Matthew 19:6 has it that "Wherefore they are no more twain (two), but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Also, Mark 10:9 declares "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder". Now, both the Judges and the parties seeking for divorce through the courts should be afraid. In fact, they (Judges) just have to repent, and find any possible means to reconcile the homes they've broken through their judgments. If they fail to do so, God will not hold them guiltless, who have taken His word in vain because, Deuteronomy 5:11 warned "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain".

Remember, divorce is sin and no sinner have part in the kingdom of God Revelation 21:8 says "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death".
