Nigerians Wait On The Lord For The Real CHANGE
Psalms 27:14 "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
Men and brethren, the economic downturn in Nigeria today is so alarming to the extent that people are now committing suicide blaming President Buhari for their cowardly action. No matter how terrible their woes may be, they cannot stand justified before God on why they committed suicide. In fact the devil is very pleased and happy that people are committing suicide because he knows that they are surely ending up in hell fire due to their foolishness. So, stop sending yourself to hell fire in the name of hardships. May God help us.
Now as terrible as the economic situation in Nigeria today represents, only the poor in the streets are the ones really feeling the devastating impact of the economic downturn. Go to every nook and cranny of Nigeria, people are still marrying throwing lavish parties, new buildings springing up here and there, people buying new and expensive cars even for their concubines (girlfriends) etc. The devil has succeeded in making Nigerians complainers, murmuring over every single thing thereby drawing the anger of God. Remember what happened to the Israelites in the wilderness 1 Corinthians 10:10.
So, despite the terrible economic downturn in Nigeria, brethren let's wait on God. An adage says when things get tough, only the wise goes to Jesus. Let us like Elisha speak hope, courage, faith and positive declaration to the Nigerian economy. Let us see God using the present situation in Nigeria today to glorifying Himself on our behalf. God is more than enough to prove Himself strong if you approach Him with an unwavering faith and confidence in His word, the Holy Bible.
There come a time in Samaria that women started eating their own children 2 Kings 6:26-30. Money once failed in Egypt too Genesis 47:15. The situation was that terrible and bad. However, it took Elisha the prophet to make a divine declaration that tomorrow, food will be surplus in Samaria. In order for the word of God not to fail, God suddenly saw the predicament of four leprous men at the gate of Samaria as the wonderful instrument to bring His word into manifestation. God is still God brethren and He can do much more than we ask today in Jesus name. Amen.

2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?
4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.
5 And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.
6 For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.
8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.
9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household.
10 So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.
11 And he called the porters; and they told it to the king's house within.
12 And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
13 And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.
14 They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying, Go and see.
15 And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.
16 And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.
17 And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.
18 And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:
19 And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
20 And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died."

The Gloomy Eternity That Awaits Non Believers In Christ Jesus
In Matthew 7:21, Jesus said "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
Dear friend, Jesus said not everyone that calls Him Lord, Lord will enter into heaven despite that they are serving Him by being Christians. This is a damning verdict of God on Christians. If this is so, do you think that you, that doesn't know Jesus Christ at all talk less of serving Him will smell the gate of heaven in your death? Surely, it is an impossibility.
In 1 Peter 4:18, the Bible says "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?"
MY dear wonderful friends, the Bible says scarcely will a righteous man be saved. Do you understand the severe implications of this stand of God? It means that the righteous probably won't make heaven. It means that certainly the righteous may not make heaven. It equally means that almost not at all would a righteous man make it to heaven.
Friend, if this is the verdict on the righteous man serving the Lord by the Supreme Jehovah God Almighty, what do you think of yourself that is unrighteous in all your ways? Please make amend today and repent of all your sins and give your life to Jesus Christ now before it's too late. Certainly, the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
And finally, in 2 Corinthians 5:11, the Bible says "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences."
Dear friend, the Almighty God has terror, and if you fall into his anger, you won't escape hell fire. The Bible said He is a consuming fire Hebrews 12:29; He visits the the sinner to punish him even to the fourth generation Exodus 20:5; He is able to kill the body and casts the soul into hell fire Luke 12:5; He respects no one Acts 10:34; and He is a jealous God Deuteronomy 4:24.
Knowing that it is a fearful thing to fall into hands of the Living God Hebrews 10:31, my dear friend, you have everything to gain should you accept JESUS CHRIST into your life right now as your LORD and personal saviour, hence this persuasion. Ask Him to forgive you all your sins because He is faithful and just to forgive Daniel 9:9, and promise Him that you will not commit sin again John 8:11. He will surely forgive you and make you His true sons and daughters 2 Corinthians 6:17-18. Your name will then be written in the Book of life in heaven Revelation 21:27.
But if you harden your heart and continue in your sins, I am sorry you will be destroyed without remedy. Proverbs 29:1 says "He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy." But God is a merciful God who doesn't want you to perish hence He sends Jesus Christ to come and die for your sins so that you will have eternal life. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Cry unto God now for mercy from the bottom of your heart, and He will hear your cry and save you from the eternal destruction of your soul in hell fire. Pray to God through Jesus Christ right now.
