A WORD FOR SKEPTICAL, UNBELIEVING CHRISTIANS AS REGARDS TESTIMONIES, REVELATIONS AND PROPHESIES GIVEN BY JESUS THROUGH HIS TRUE MESSENGERS!!!

It is true that in these modern times, evil abounds. However, where evil abounds, the Grace of God abounds much more. The Christian who is detached from God will always be confused and skeptical. You cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit, yielding to the Holy Spirit and then be confused about which voice is God's and which isn't.
Can you not know the voice of your biological father/mother or husband/wife if you hear their voice even while sleeping? When you spend lots of time with a person, you can never be confused about their voice or the kind of things they are capable of saying. Even if someone imitates my spouse's voice, there are things I am 150% sure that my spouse will NEVER say because I spend lots of time with my spouse!! That is something the thief and impostor can never learn. If a spouse says something that you know he/she is usually not capable of saying, then you can be sure that he/she is under a strong influence (good or bad).
In Amos 3:7-8, the Bible talked about God revealing His secrets to His servants and that when He does so, the servant must declare it to the people. In Joel 2:28-29, the Bible talks about God pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh and causing men and women to dream dreams, prophesy and see visions. Did God not give warnings of His coming judgements through Abraham, Noah, Ezekiel, Paul, Peter, James, John and several other servants of God? In 1 Thess. 5:20, the Bible warns us not to despise prophecies and encourages us to desire the gift of prophesy as the Lord wills (1 Cor. 14:1,31), even though we are also warned to test all things but HOLD FAST what is good (1 Thess. 5:21).
Many believers always scream 'test all things, test all things', but do they hold fast what is good? Or is there no good thing in these testimonies and revelations? Even prophesies can easily be tested by their fulfillment (all prophesies are for edification; but edification doesn't mean that the prophesy must be positive news. Negative news is meant to warn us and keep us close to God in prayer.
When we are protected from the coming doom, then we are edified and comforted). Is Jesus not being glorified in these testimonies? The way to test spirits is to go to God Himself.
As you spend time fasting and praying and seeking for truth, only then will you find it. You can never test spirits by rationalizing with the human mind or trying to arithmetize the Bible saying that 'if one plus one is two, therefore, two minus one must be one'. Remember, the God of this world is still in the business of blinding the minds of people especially Christians (2 Cor. 4:3-6; 1 Cor. 2:14; 2 Cor. 3:14-16).
You must ask for your eyes of understanding to be enlightened (Eph. 1:17-18; Col. 1:9-10). It is only those who seek God DILIGENTLY that find Him (Heb.11:6; James 4:8; James 1:5-8; Jer. 33:3). Superficial seeking will never find God or His Truths. "The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him and He will show them His covenant" (Psa. 25:14). It is also very true that Satan can give prophesies that will come to pass. But these ones can so easily be tested. Does the prophesy seek to glorify Jesus? Does it seek to bring more souls into God's Kingdom? For instance, if someone prophesies that a particular person will do so and so and win in Big Brother Africa or in a Wrestling Match or Football Match, what has Jesus got to do with satanic events and programs? Whether the prophesy comes true or not, what is my business in it as a follower of Christ? How will that win souls into the Kingdom of my God?
So, what are we saying here? The secrets of the Lord include spiritual truths (about the spiritual realm and brought into the physical realm; about God's plans and activities or about Satan's evil plans and activities) and revelations that are not explained in details in the Bible. That's why the Bible tells us that “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law" (Deut. 29:29). As we seek God diligently, He reveals them to us.
These spiritual truths are categorized under general headings in the Bible so the Bible is very complete and captures, in one way or the other, everything that God reveals through the trusted revelations He gives to people. For instance, there is no where in the Bible where you will see express specific commandments such as 'Do not beat your wife', Do not indulge in anal or oral sex'. These are the activities that Satan engineers in the spirit realm.
But are there no scriptures that fully reveal to you by God's Spirit that these actions are evil? Can you not tell by God's Spirit as you study His word? Anal and oral sex are sexual perversions and there are laws against sexual perversions and filthiness and sexual immorality which all cover those actions. There are also laws against violence or lack of self-control which covers 'wife-beating'.
If you do not believe that God's laws in the old testament books are still valid, then the devil will keep making you believe that some of these testimonies contradict the Bible. God's word begins from Genesis to Revelation, not only Matthew to Revelation. Another evil device of the devil is that he makes people claim the promises in the old testament books but leave out the conditions for the fulfillmentof those promises or the judgements for the disobedience of the conditions. This is a terrible trick of the devil.
What did Jesus say in Luke 16:15-17 and Matt. 5:17-19. Is Jesus not to be trusted too? Okay, what about the many scriptures in the new testament books that the devil ensures that people ignore, such as women covering their hair during public worship or women being obedient to their husbands even if the husband does not obey the word of God? Are those not in the New testament books?
Yet many Christians have found demonic reasons to explain some of these scriptures away. God's word is very simple to understand if you read through and compliment scriptures with the help of the TRUE Holy Spirit. It is man who likes ambiguity.
Man always believes that God is always talking figuratively or symbolically or in parables. This is a lie from the bellies of hell. The devil tells so many Christians that God's word should not be taken in its literal form, that it should always be seen as symbols or parables, referring to something else in these modern times. This is half, incomplete and twisted truth and half- truth is a lie, it is deception.
God uses symbols and parables in certain scriptures but He also declares what figure of speech He is using and gives the explanation for it, whether in that same Bible passage or somewhere else in the Bible.
Is God a confusionist? Is man wiser than God? Does man communicate to his audience in other tongues or in parables? If man understands the benefit of effective communication, why shouldn't the God who created the man know better? Why should God seek to leave us confused by using ambiguity when He knows that faith can only come by hearing and UNDERSTANDING Him?
This is Satan's plan - to cause men to think that God's word is too ambiguous, too contradictory, too confusing, not valid in this modern age, not to be taken seriously word for word. Well, when the King of the Word appears, it will be too late for many unbelieving Christians!
FOR YOUR INFORMATION and maybe to your utmost dismay, Jesus did not come to reduce God's standards, the deep TRUTH is that JESUS CAME TO RAISE HIS STANDARDS, GOD's STANDARDS!!!! Read through the book of Matthew chapters 5,6 and 7 and discover how.
For instance, in the past, God gave simple laws like 'an eye for an eye', if someone slaps you, slap him in return. But Jesus came and said 'if someone slaps you, turn the other cheek'; 'love your enemy and do good to him'. Is this not harder, did Jesus Himself not fulfill it? God said adultery is committed when you 'do' the act but Jesus says adultery is committed when you 'think' the act even before the commission.
Listen, even though the 'bar' has been raised, Jesus has left us with ALL that it takes to meet the standards. There is NO excuse!!! That is why He said to us 'to whom much is given, much will be expected' (Luke 12:48). We have been given much more than the people of old had. We have the Blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9); the
Name of Jesus (Phil. 2:9-11; Acts 4:12); Grace (Heb. 4:16); The Word of God (Heb. 4:12; Psa. 19:7; John 15:7); The Holy Spirit (John 14:26; John 16:13); the Divine nature of Righteousness (2 Pet. 1:4; 2 Cor. 5:21); a Regenerated Spirit (Tit. 3:5; 2 Cor. 5:17); the measure of Faith (Rom. 12:3).
Jesus said The road to heaven is NARROW and DIFFICULT but only POSSIBLE if we stay close to God and become totally dependent on Him through our christian journey (Matt. 7:14;
Matt. 19:25-26). Why do we then suppose that we can dress, look, act, live and talk like the world and still enter heaven?
The Bible mentions in Rev. 21:8 that the unbelieving (Christians) will be amongst those cast into the lake of fire. They are the 'STIFFNECKED' Christians just like the children of Israel whom God brought out of Egypt yet they refused, on countless occasions, to believe or obey God's laws (Exo. 16:4,28; 32:9-10; 33:3,5) and so several of them were consumed by God's wrath (Exo. 32:25-28).
These are those who profess Jesus as Lord and Saviour, yet do not believe that all of God's laws are still very valid; or Christians who choose some aspects of the Bible to obey and the ones to ignore; or Christians who never believe any testimony or revelation from God and yet NEVER spend time in fasting, prayer and study of God's word to find the truth through the Holy Spirit. Jesus said 'you do not believe because you are not of My sheep', 'My sheep hear My voice and I know them and they follow Me' (John 10:26-27). It is clear why several Christians are not Jesus' sheep: they simply never know His voice. If you have been spending a lot of time with the TRUE God, these testimonies, revelations and prophesies should act as confirmations to what God has been revealing to you.
Please pray to the Lord with a sincere and open heart and ask for your eyes of understanding to be enlightened and any evil veil of the enemy to be removed from your spiritual eyes as you study God's word and receive spiritual truths!!!
